We must resist elements of society that seek to oppress us. We also know that joy must be part of our resistance. Join this powerful group of Black women performers as we share expressions of joy and of resistance, all while honoring the space that has brought so many of us together. The evening will feature Choreographer & Dancer Maria Bauman (MBDance), Singer & Musician Ganessa James, Poet Charan Morris, Comedian Micia Mosely, Songstress & Storyteller Chaney Sims and Wordsmith Al Spivey.
