COME BE PART OF A WRITING NEW COMEDY SPECIAL!
Micia Mosely is writing her new one-hour comedy special, BLACK LESBIAN OF A CERTAIN AGE. Join us for 4 exclusive work-in-progress performances. As part of her 2020 residency at Queer Cultural Center Micia is on stage workshopping her show in REAL TIME. The full show will be presented in June as part of the Queer Artst Festival.
Mosely’s one-woman show, “Where My Girls At?” (an off-Broadway comedy about Black lesbians) was nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award (Best Solo Performance). Currently, she performs her brand of social justice stand up across the country.
Created with the support of the Queer Cultural Center in San Francisco as part of thier “Creating Queer Community” Residency, Micia is excited to develop and present her new full-length special. This residency is partially funded by a California Arts Council grant. Directed by Lisa Marie Rollins.
